Opening under current regulations

Under current regulations we are still open by appointments only.

As our practice remains open, we understand you may be nervous about your visit and we are taking precautions to maintain the safety of all our patients and staff and to ensure your visit is relaxing:

  • All our staff are screened daily to ensure they are showing no symptoms and are asked to self-isolate for 14 days if they or any of their family show symptoms

  • All visits are by appointment only to ensure social distancing is maintained

  • We may check via telephone prior to your visit for any symptoms (continuous cough, raised temperature and loss of taste/smell) and ask you not to attend and re-arrange where necessary.

  • Between each patient we are sanitising equipment and chairs, tables, door handles etc

  • All our spectacle frames are sanitised using disinfectant and UVC light after being tried on

  • All our staff are using hand sanitiser regularly and are asking all patients when they attend to use hand sanitiser

  • Our optometrist will wear a mask throughout your appointment, and all our staff are wearing appropriate PPE.

  • Screens have been installed along the reception desk and in the waiting room.

  • Patients are asked to limit companions on their visit to only essential people to reduce the number of people within the practice.

  • Reception waiting areas and communal spaces are arranged for social distancing and appointment times will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients and cleaning in between appointment

  • If you are unable to attend the practice for any reason, please let us know and where possible we will try our best to help you.
