The vision and passion of these beautiful crafted frames are inspired by a generation of the Pomberger family, from their grandfather (Johann Pomberger) to their father and now their son.
Johann was sure that eyewear doesn’t need to be boring which is demonstrated in the bright, beautifully vivid frames we see today.
THE DESIGN
Every shape and colour combination is carefully selected so that every colour, every model, and thus every collection is harmonious but at the same time unique.
Each shape has its own character: from classic to modern, quiet to striking, serious to playful. The right glasses complement your own head shape and underline its characteristics. For many designers, choosing the right shape is the last step – for us it’s the first!
Once we have found a suitable shape, the design of the corresponding colour combinations begins. These are matched to the characteristics of the shape and play with its features. Thus, with each colour combination a completely unique frame is created.
combines the first name of Johann Pomberger, the creative originator of the brand, and the location of the eyewear factory, Bad Goisern. Colloquially simply called “Goisern”.
The “real” Johann (von Goisern) was born in Bad Goisern in 1937. In 1984 Johann set up his own business in the “production and processing of spectacle frames”.
